Randle Engineering Achieves Cyber Essentials Certification

Randle Engineering has successfully achieved Cyber Essentials certification, demonstrating its commitment to maintaining robust cyber security controls and protecting the information entrusted to the business by customers, partners and employees.

The Government backed Cyber Essentials scheme is designed to help organisations defend against the most common cyber threats by establishing a strong foundation of technical controls, policies and secure working practices.

For Randle Engineering, the certification provides independent verification of the standards and processes that support the delivery of engineering consultancy services across sectors including automotive, defence, aerospace, off-highway and advanced mobility.

As organisations increasingly require confidence in the security of their supply chains, Cyber Essentials certification gives customers additional reassurance that Randle Engineering is committed to managing information securely and responsibly.

Sarah Hookey, Operations Manager at Randle Engineering, said:

“Achieving this certification is an important milestone for the myself professionally and the business. We are always striving for operational excellence, and this certification reflects the professionalism, diligence and commitment demonstrated by my colleagues across our organisation. While online security is often associated with technology, it is ultimately about people, processes and making good decisions every day. This validation confirms the high standards we apply throughout our business and reinforces our commitment to protecting our customers’ information and maintaining trust.”

The certification was achieved following a detailed assessment of the company’s systems, controls and procedures, covering areas such as access management, device security, software maintenance, malware protection and secure configuration.

For customers operating in highly regulated and security-conscious sectors, including defence and aerospace, demonstrating strong cyber security credentials is becoming an increasingly important requirement when selecting supply chain and consultancy partners. Cyber Essentials certification helps ensure Randle Engineering is well positioned to meet those expectations while continuing to provide specialist engineering expertise.

The achievement forms part of the company’s wider commitment to continual improvement, operational excellence and delivering the highest standards of service to its customers.

Randle Engineering will continue to strengthen its cyber security posture and build on the foundations recognised through Cyber Essentials certification.
