Modec is the world´s first manufacturer of purpose built zero emission vehicles. Heralded as the future of commercial transport, the British manufacturer was founded in 2004 by a team of automotive engineering experts and its vehicles were launched to the transport industry in March 2007. The Zero Emissions Vehicle features a 2 tonne load capacity, 100 mile range between charges and quiet operation due to the electric drive system. Now Modec ZEV has expanded into the USA in a manufacturing alliance with Navistar.
